Who frees us to be most beautifully human?
Darwin’s Origin of Species wasn’t just another book; it was a new religion: namely, a way of thinking about where we came from (origins), how we got here (existence), and where we’re going (destiny). He offered bold answers. But it’s now in our hands to decide who offers the truest, most satisfying, and most beautiful answers to what it means to be human. What does Buddha have to say about our origins? Joseph Smith about how we are saved from sin? Krishna on the present life? Muhammad on the afterlife? Darwin on how we got here? The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob on who we are as human beings? I believe there is one answer that gives us the most beautifully freeing and deeply satisfying human existence imaginable.
